ICE TRACK INFO

Going forward, information on ice conditions will be maintained by the City of Kuopio / Liikkuva Kuopio. The information is updated twice a week or less frequently, depending on changes in ice conditions.

Everyone uses the ice at their own risk. Mestar maintains and prepares the natural ice track according to weather conditions.

The event organizer (Pohjois-Savon Liikunta ry) accepts no liability for material damage or personal injury. Participants must take other people using the ice into consideration.

Participants are not insured by either the event organizer (Pohjois-Savon Liikunta ry) or the track operator (Mestar).

Natural ice skating tracks are opened first at the Kuopio Passenger Harbour. Other tracks are prepared and opened according to weather conditions during January. The natural ice skating tracks run around the Kuopio Passenger Harbour and in Kuopionlahti when ice conditions permit.
