Finland Ice Marathon
Finland Ice Marathon is one of Finland's oldest ice skating events on natural ice. The race centre is in the harbour of Kuopio, catering to participants with activities and comprehensive facilities. The event is organized on the 24th of February 2018 from morning until afternoon.
The course is made on the natural ice of Kallavesi. The lap is 12,5 km long (weather conditions permitting).
A new addition is ice biking 100 km, 50 km and 25 km. The biking will be organized already on Friday the 23th of February 2018 at 9 am.
On the 12,5 km route there is one refreshment point with drinks.
A large tent in the start area functioning as changing room.

50 km Kicksled F / M, start at 9:00 am
Children's skating minimarathon:G / B under 6 years, G / B 7-8 years, G / B 9-10 years old, G / B11-12 years, G / B 13-14 years old start at 12:00 pm.
Finnish Championship is same time as normal competition serie. For participating in the Finnish Championship you need to have a license from the Finnish Speed Skating Association (Suomen Luisteluliitto). The license must be presented in the race office. You don´t need any license if you skate in normal competition serie.
